Chris Harris

Christopher Harris has been capturing the land and light of the Pacific Northwest and southwest Arizona using pinhole cameras for more than two decades. His projects have included the landscape of the Palouse, a grain growing region of Washington; seascapes along the California coast; and explorations of twilight in Skagit, a region north of Seattle known as home to Washington artists. Currently represented by Harris Harvey Gallery (Seattle) and Platform (online), Harris’s work has also been in a wide variety of national curated exhibitions. Harris photographed the Sonoran Desert during daylight hours using a digital pinhole camera mounted with a flash.
